1. Agreement to These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of vprinter (the "Service") — including our website, dashboard, APIs, and ingestion endpoints. By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
vprinter is a virtual printer that receives, stores, and lets you search the ESC/POS receipts and print jobs your devices send to it. Features include device identification, labels and tags, workspaces, team members, and API keys for programmatic access.
We may add, change, or remove features over time. We may also offer parts of the Service under separate or additional terms, in which case those terms also apply.
3. Your Account
To use most of the Service you must create an account and verify your email address. You are responsible for:
- keeping your password and API keys confidential;
- all activity that occurs under your account or workspace; and
- notifying us promptly at contact@vprinter.dev if you suspect any unauthorized use.
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
- upload or transmit content you do not have the right to send, or that infringes the rights of others;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or its underlying systems;
- interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including by sending abusive volumes of traffic; or
- reverse engineer or resell the Service except as permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate access that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or creates risk for us or other users.
5. Your Content
The receipts, print payloads, device names, labels, and other data you send to the Service ("Your Content") remain yours. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service for you.
You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring you have the rights and any necessary consents to send it to us — including where receipts contain personal data of third parties.
6. API Keys and Devices
API keys let your printers and integrations send data to your workspace. Treat them like passwords. You are responsible for any data ingested using your keys. You may rotate or revoke keys at any time from the dashboard, and we may revoke keys that appear compromised.
7. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we process data as described there.
8. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance, modify features, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part), and will use reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes that adversely affect you.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision is no longer commercially reasonable. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete Your Content after a reasonable period, subject to legal retention requirements.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that decoded receipt data will be complete or accurate.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, vprinter will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms and update the effective date, and where appropriate notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
